First off before I say anything else I have to say that this blog was really hard to name and EVEN HARDER TO GET A BLOG URL FOR. HOLY CRAP!
But now that its off my chest I can digress. I guess I should add the the reason I started this blog is to talk about my experiences in a sort of anonymity. I know not everyone is going to read it so I can safely post what I'm up to without announcing it all over the social media sites and getting things out there ahead of myself. Some people I know will probably read it and that's totally fine, I just feel like it's better to have a little cover? Anyways....
So I've started working for Examiner.com as a freelance music writer. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but it turns out that I really do and I'm not too shabby of a writer (well I never have been anyways). I've done 3 pieces so far in the past week, one Top 5 List, an Interview with Glenn Stewarts who is a really nice genuine guy and an awesome promoter, and an Article on the psychotic life of Amanda Bynes.
By far my favorite has been the interview and I am hoping to do a lot more. I've tossed a bunch of balls out into cyber space, hoping I'll be a able to catch them aka get more interviews. If it goes how I'm hoping it will then this could be a big career step for me. Until then I'll keep throwing pitches and watching them carefully; it'd suck if they fell on my head.
